Happy Friday! This is the last day of early voting for Tuesday’s GOP primary runoff for U.S. Senate between Darline Graham and Ralph Norman. Early voting centers close at 5 p.m.

Statewide, 43,770 people total voted yesterday and Wednesday, according to state Election Commission data. (There are 3.4 million registered voters in South Carolina.)

President Donald Trump will be at a rally tonight in Myrtle Beach for Graham. Norman is holding a town hall event in Anderson, where the state GOP had intended to host a Stump Stop with the candidates.

University of South Carolina students and staff gobbled up 30 million credits on ChatGPT last school year — 30 times what it was contracted for — making it one of the top college users on the platform in the country. As a result, USC had to pump the brakes this school year on what was unfettered use.

Nationwide, 32,495 veterans were homeless in January 2025, according to the latest point-in-time report. That’s only slightly down from the year before. But it’s a 56% drop since 2010, which is certainly a positive trend. This national article comes from our affiliate Stateline. I’ve inserted a sidebar on South Carolina’s numbers.
